Non so se c'é sempre stato ma io me ne sono accorto solo adesso.
Sul Children's Multivitamin del dr.Mercola compare un'etichetta con scritto:
California Residents Proposition 65
Warning. This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.
Risposta dal sito del Dr Mercola a proposito di quella etichetta: Since our multivitamins are derived from whole food minerals, a small amount of lead is present due to plants naturally absorbing minerals from the soil that they grow in. As a result of this, almost any kind of plant will test positive for metals.
While Dr. Mercola believes this is not harmful since it is naturally occurring within plants, rest assured that the multivitamins we sell is perfectly safe to take and the sticker has been added simply to comply with strict California laws and regulations dealing with consumable products.

"I sell vitamins and the company I sell for uses the same Prop 65 warning label for any vitamin shipped to California. They also ship to every state in the Union and to over 100 different countries. California is the only state/country that has that Prop 65 disclaimer. Prop 65 requires extra, very expensive testing that some companies refuse to do for only one state."

The ingredient within the kid’s multi vitamin chewable is lead. There is a small amount of naturally occurring lead in this product. The label is only placed on products going to California because it is their “proposition 65” law, to advise residents of products containing lead.
